Who: 

Abigail (20) from Ohio

Brittany (21) from Alaska

Noelle (21) from Nevada

What: We will be organizing and running an after-school program for kids. This will include preparing and serving them a meal, keeping records of their growth/progress, preparing learning activities, helping with homework, playing games, teaching skills and crafts and doing whatever else we see fit to do to help these children. We will also have the opportunity to teach English at the school and help in an orphanage. We have big plans to use 100% of our time and energy on helping and serving whoever we possibly can.

Where:
A small town outside of Cajamarca, Peru

When: 
January 11, 2012 through April 11, 2012

Why:
We're all off-track this semester and wanted to do something adventurous yet worthwhile with ourselves during our time off.


How:
We're not quite sure yet how this will all work out, but we know that it will. Maybe we've got a lot of faith, or maybe we're all just a bit crazy. Either way... it's happening.


Do you speak Spanish? Does anyone there speak English?
Not yet. Not one. (hence the crazy bit mentioned above)
